Walk from Union – Short 15-minute walk. Follow the PATH or York Street south. Turn Left on Queen's Quay at Harbor Square. Walk half a block to the Ontario Science Center.

Bike – The Ontario Science Center is on the Martin Goodman Trail, which spans the Toronto waterfront for 22 km and has its own bike lane. It is connected to all city bike trails and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Public bike racks are available.

TTC – Get to Union Station. Take the 509 or 510 streetcar two stops to Queens Quay West at Harbourfront Center.

By Car Downtown – Head south on York Street. Turn left on Queens Quay. Parking is available at the Harbourfront Center or on the street.

By Car Highway - From the Gardiner Expressway, exit at Bay St. / York St. Go south on Bay or York Street and turn right onto Queens Quay. Parking is available at the Harbourfront Center or on the street

Admission includes access to KidSpark, Space Deck and Innovation Station. Curious kids and their families can explore everyone’s favourite learn-through-play experience in KidSpark. Visitors can journey through space and time in Space Deck, then bring their curiosity and creativity to imagine, build and experiment in Innovation Station.

It’s hands-on science fun for families, kids and curious visitors of all ages in downtown Toronto.

Why are kids free this summer?
The Canada Strong Pass is a federal program offering free and reduced admissions at participating museums, galleries and parks across the country. We are excited to offer it to our Ontario Science Centre visitors this summer.

How does the Canada Strong Pass work?
From June 19 to September 7, 2026, simply book your tickets online and enjoy free admission for youth ages 17 and under, plus 50% off admission for young adults ages 18-24. The discounts will automatically be applied.
The Canada Strong Pass is not a physical pass that you need to purchase, sign up for, or collect.
Please note, that the Canada Strong Pass does not apply to camp or group visits and cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers.

Are refunds or exchanges available for ticket purchases?
No, all ticket sales are final.

Why are there timed tickets?
Timed tickets help us manage capacity and create a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone. Please arrive on time to make the most of your visit.

What if I’m late to my timed entry?
If you arrive late or miss your time slot, we cannot guarantee entry – especially during busy periods. While we will try our best to accommodate our visitors, if we are at capacity or sold out for the remainder of the day, you may need to reschedule your visit.

Is there a gift shop?
Yes! Visit the WonderStore, located at KidSpark and Landing Pad, to find a wide range of merchandise including t-shirts, hats and so much more! Proceeds from all sales support Ontario Science Centre programming.

Can I bring food and drinks?
The Landing Pad is a dedicated eating area where food and drinks are allowed. You are also welcome to enjoy snacks and meals in the public outdoor spaces.
However, visitors are requested to avoid bringing food or drinks inside the exhibition spaces. Thank you for helping us keep the Ontario Science Centre clean and safe for all visitors.

Is there a coat check?
No, there is no coat check available.

Are there lockers?
Yes, lockers are available at a cost of $4 each payable by credit or debit, and available for all-day use. However, we encourage our visitors to leave valuables, large bags, and other personal belongings at home.
A small storage bin may be provided upon request to store lunches and small backpacks during your visit. Please do not leave valuables in the storage bins. The Ontario Science Centre is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged belongings. Items are stored at your own risk.

Are strollers permitted?
Yes, strollers are permitted with space available to park them. Please do not leave valuables in your parked strollers. The Ontario Science Centre is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged belongings. Items are stored at your own risk.
